Privacy
Short version: this website collects nothing of its own, and DeskDart is built so that what is on your screen stays between your devices.
Who we are
deskdart.com and the DeskDart apps are made by Veldaron Labs LLC. Questions about this policy go to [email protected].
This website
This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics, ads or trackers. It has no forms and stores nothing about you.
It is hosted on Cloudflare, which handles the technical details of each visit (such as your IP address and browser) to deliver the pages and protect the site from attacks, under Cloudflare's own privacy policy.
When you email us
If you email us, for example to ask for early access, we use your message and address to reply and to tell you when DeskDart is ready for you. We do not sell or share them. Ask us at any time to delete them.
The DeskDart apps
DeskDart is in development, and the apps will come with their own privacy policy before they are released. They are built on these principles:
- What is on your screen, what you type and the files you send travel encrypted from one device to the other. Veldaron Labs cannot see them.
- To connect devices, our server keeps each device's address and public key, and sees which addresses talk to each other and when.
- The unattended-access password never leaves your computer.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with its date.
